2006: Cornwall Tour, Hotel Fawlty, rain and one game of cricket
It rained for the first two days and shall we just say that certain members got rather less sleep than they needed! “Fawlty Towers Hotel” did have an indoor bowling alley. After two days of boredom, the last game was tense.

2001: Concorde looks for cricket behind the iron curtain, and doesn’t find it!
Well, it is a long story, but we went to Prague to play a game with the local expats, and found we were stuffed on a pitch laid on an allotment. Ends with a heroic withdrawal to the safety of the Prague bars and nightlife.
